How AppointmentCall Works
AppointmentCall can record and deliver up to nine separate
messages. Each message has its own list of phone numbers, referred
to throughout the User's Guide as the Call List. AppointmentCall
can deliver messages to any phone number, local or long distance.
A feature called Advanced Scheduling allows AppointmentCall users
to preset the date for each Call List. By default, AppointmentCall
is set to make calls between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time. Your
call schedule can be adjusted to accommodate any communication
strategy.
When a called party or an answering machine answers,
AppointmentCall plays the message, hangs up, and continues down
the Call List, delivering the message to each phone number on the
Call List. The system stops after all messages are delivered, when
call time for that day has expired, or when the Call List has been
deleted.
Messages are prioritized in numerical order. Fro example, Message
#1 and Call List #1 are delivered first, Message #2 and Call List
#2 are delivered second, and so on. It's important to keep in mind
that message number one corresponds with the number 1 on the
telephone keypad, message number two corresponds with the number 2
on the keypad, and so on.
AppointmentCall will continue retrying busy and no answer numbers
periodically. When it finds it has spare time while waiting to
retry numbers from Call List #1 it will try some numbers from Call
List #2, then Call List #3 and so on. AppointmentCall can handle
up to nine separate Call Lists. The total combined phone number
capacity if AppointmentCall is 30,000 phone numbers. If your
combined total is over 30,000 phone numbers, you may need to
upgrade to a more sophisticated system. Contact our customer
representatives for further details.
